VAYU MUDRA

It is a mudra used for regulating the air element in the body. In Ayurveda, the thumb represents the fire element and the index finger indicates the air element. Therefore, as the index finger is pressed under thumb finger, fire overpowers the air elements by its suppression.

It can be easily achieved by the folding of an index finger and its pressing at the base of the thumb. Further, extend the rest of the fingers.

Our bodies were made to move! As children we were running, jumping or climbing trees. We did it effortlessly, supported a healthy growing musculoskeletal and circulatory system, and we didn’t even know it. 

As we age, we stop moving the way we did as children. We do not appreciate our bones, joints, ligaments, the freedom of movement, until they begin to complain. The best way to improve bone health is to exercise, the best relief for tight muscles is to stretch them, support the joints by keeping the muscles and bones strong. We can further support it by ayurveda diet, treatments and herbal supplements. Minimum stay is 7 or 14 days.
