SwaSwara is located on the western coast of India, popularly known as the Konkan coast in the state of Karnataka in South India. Set a little away from the village of Gokarna, nestling amidst rolling hills and lined by serene coconut palms are 24 villas inspired by the homesteads, tradition and craft of the Uttara Karnataka region. Situated on Om beach, there is little, apart from the rhythm of the rolling waves and the meditative hum of birdsong, to disturb your inner explorations. Crafted in colours of the Earth, and in harmony with the land that nurtures her, SwaSwara is designed for holistic and transformational experiences; a space where the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda and Yoga embrace you to rejuvenate body and spirit.

ayurveda Resort SwaSwara reminds me woman, she can be moody, but still you feel her openness and free flow of all-encompassing energy. I think, this is the Swara of Swa, you can hear that echo the whole way it's built. SwaSwara is a mother, a sister, a healer, it's all there! SwaSwara is a place where you learn to be comfortable with yourself. Most of us are not happy with ourselves, including me. But I'm fine, I don't feel lonely. There's a big difference between ‘being lonely’ and ‘being on your own’. It's just two very different states of the mind. We are afraid to show a weaknesses, but in SwaSwara is the space for 'cocooning'. It's like going back into the womb of the mother. It is transformation process after which you emerge as the dragonfly.
